Notes on Methodology
How We Test and What We Mean
A few clarifications about our review process, the terms we use, and the limits of what we can promise.
What "Daily Use" Means Here
When we say a product was tested in daily use, we mean it was used at least three times a week for a minimum of four weeks. We do not count a single weekend of cooking or one night of sleep as a real test. Our conclusions are based on repeated handling, cleaning, and wear.
The Term "French Origin"
We use "French origin" to describe products designed, manufactured, or historically associated with France. A brand founded in France but produced elsewhere is noted as such. We do not imply that every component comes from French soil.
Value for Money vs. Price
Our value rating is not a statement about affordability. It reflects whether the product's performance, durability, and finish justify its position in the market. A high price does not automatically mean poor value, and a low price does not guarantee a bargain.
Photographs and Lighting
All product photos are taken in our own kitchen or home setting. We do not use studio lighting or retouch images to hide wear. The goal is to show how an item looks after weeks of normal use, not how it appears in a marketing campaign.
A Note on Individual Results
Our findings reflect the specific samples we purchased and the conditions in which we used them. Your experience may differ based on how you cook, clean, or care for the item. We do not claim that our results are universal, only that they are honest and reproducible in our context.
